ABOUT YENNIS CHEUNG...
The daughter of two Beijing Opera performers, at the age of 14, Yennis Cheung won a place at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in classical opera. At around this time, Yennis joined the pop band Multiplex and was spotted by an executive from Sony BMG and was signed as a recording artist, releasing three solo albums. In addition, Yennis collaborated with Hong Kong Hip Hop act MP4 on two hit singles and toured with them in Malaysia.
As a film actress, Yennis made her screen debut in the film “Under the Rainbow” and more commercial Hong Kong films followed, including “Love and Let Love”, Take Five”, “PR Girls”, and “Hero of the City”. Yennis then moved to the UK to pursue her acting and songwriting career, writing tracks for Audiofreaks Music and EMI Music Productions, and acting in such films as Skyfall, Shanghai, 2 Days in the Smoke, Panic, Somebody to love, Spirit Warriors and The English Class.
